Duralast Dosing in India was conducted in patients suffering from premature ejaculation.
The drug dapoxetine, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), was administered for 36 hours with the use of a standardized dosage form. The drug was administered orally as a tablet or as a liquid. The duration of the study was 5 days. Patients were instructed to start the study at the time of first administration of the drug.
The objective of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of the Dapoxetine + Priligy combination in the treatment of male patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in comparison to conventional dapoxetine therapy in a population with a high risk of progression of BPH, with or without any residual symptoms. Methods: Male patients with an enlarged prostate of the radical prostatectomy type (PSA) and/or a positive biopsy for prostatitis and/or prostatic urethral stricture were included. Clinical, biochemical and endoscopic findings were assessed. Efficacy was evaluated using the percentage improvement in prostate volume (PV), the area under the curve (AUC) and the response rate. Results: In the group of patients treated with conventional dapoxetine therapy (Dapoxetine + Priligy), mean improvement in PSA was 9.4% (mean PSA = 4.2 ng/mL, SD 4.2) and the mean PSA in the group of patients treated with Dapoxetine + Priligy was 4.6 ng/mL (mean PSA = 5.6 ng/mL, SD 1.8). The response rate of the prostate volume and the area under the curve (AUC) were significantly improved in the group of patients treated with Dapoxetine + Priligy (90.8%) versus Dapoxetine alone (78.9%) (P = 0.001). However, there was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of the response rate, the PSA values and the AUC values. Conclusions: The Dapoxetine + Priligy combination was found to be safe and effective in the treatment of male patients with BPH and with residual symptoms.

To our knowledge, the objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of the Dapoxetine + Priligy combination in the treatment of male patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
Thirty patients diagnosed with BPH were included in this study. They were all males, and their age ranged from 25 to 70 years. The patients had an enlarged prostate of the radical prostatectomy type (PSA) and a positive biopsy for prostatitis. They also had male factor (obstructive or organic). Patients were divided into two groups: Group 1: those treated with conventional dapoxetine therapy (Dapoxetine + Priligy) and those treated with Dapoxetine + Priligy plus a standard dapoxetine treatment (Dapoxetine + Priligy + Premodipine). Group 2: those treated with conventional dapoxetine therapy (Dapoxetine + Priligy + Premodipine) and those treated with Dapoxetine + Priligy plus a standard dapoxetine treatment (Dapoxetine + Priligy +Premodipine).
Efficacy and safety of the Dapoxetine + Priligy + Premodipine were evaluated according to the following clinical criteria: Group 1 (Dapoxetine + Priligy + Premodipine): The patients in Group 1 showed a PSA concentration of at least 4.2 ng/mL, and Group 2 showed a PSA concentration of at least 5.6 ng/mL. A total of 1,848 patients were treated with Dapoxetine + Priligy, and 1,148 patients were treated with Dapoxetine + Priligy plus a standard dapoxetine treatment. The most common adverse events were headache (46.3%), nausea (38.5%), sexual dysfunction (35.1%) and dizziness (16.1%). There were no significant differences between the groups in terms of the duration of side effects and duration of adverse events between the two groups.
